Excellence begins with listening to and learning from your customer. This requires multiple methods of “listening”, a process for documenting what you learn and a process to adapt your organization based on what you learned. Sitting is Killing You – And me! And most knowledge workers in general. Sitting is hurting our performance at work, making us fat, and shortening our lives – especially the productive portions of our lives. Here are some ideas on how to battle this problem.

Bullying – As your children grow up they will play a role in bullying in some way. They have 3 options – 1) Be the Bully, 2) Be Bullied, or 3) Stand up for themselves and for others. Sitting idly by while others are bullied is just a weak form of Option 1.
I pray that I can equip my children to choose option 3. It won’t be the easiest path, but the right path never is. Watch this inspiring TED talk, “The Most Beautiful Way to Stop a Bully I’ve Ever Seen” to learn more about helping your children find the beauty within themselves and others.
